Hotel El Ducado Lima, Lima

The hotel is well situated in the lovely Miraflores neighborhood of Lima, close to shopping, restaurants, and the oceanview sidewalk. The rooms are old and musty, making it challenging to sleep due to the noise insulation issues. However, the service is excellent, providing helpful advice and going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent, situated between Kennedy Park and Larcomar mall on a quiet street, making it convenient to explore the area. The rooms were nice but had some noise issues due to their proximity to the breakfast preparation area. The service was friendly overall, but there were some delays and disconnections when requesting assistance. The dining experience in the morning was delightful, offering a nice selection in a quiet setting.

The hotel offers rooms that are below average for the price paid, with old carpets and a musty smell. However, the service was attentive and helpful, even carrying luggage up four flights of stairs. The location is excellent for a walk to the seafront promenade and in a safe neighborhood. The dining experience could be improved, but the facilities are adequate.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were big, clean, and smelled good, which was a pleasant surprise. However, they had the ugliest view imaginable. On the bright side, the hotel provided free bathroom accessories, adding a nice touch to the stay.

The hotel was right on the road, which made it quite noisy at times. It's worth noting that there is a common space all bedroom windows and permanently open bathroom windows open into, so you may hear other people snoring. The suite I stayed in wasn't ready upon arrival.
